2024 Report on vessel emissions & activity

New Cefor report on CO2 emissions released.

This report follows up on the first CO2 emission analysis issued in 2023, with an extended scope, including analyses of both absolute vessel CO2 emissions and the alignment with net-zero emission reduction trajectories as set out by IMO over the 3-year period 2021-2023. A completely new aspect is an analysis of potential correlations between vessel CO2 emissions and claims. 

The report is based on fleet and claims data compiled in the Nordic Marine Insurance Statistics (NoMIS) database, coupled with CO2 emission data by OceanScore and vessel activity data by Marine Benchmark.
