Nordic Marine Insurance Plan Version 2027 published

The Nordic Marine Insurance Plan of 2013, Version 2027, has been published at nordicplan.org. The updated Version and key amendments were presented during the launch webinar on 5 October.

The basis for the Plan is the Nordic Plan Agreement between Cefor, Danish Shipping, the Finnish Shipowners’ Association, the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association and the Swedish Shipowners’ Association. All amendments in this new Version have been drafted and agreed by the Plan’s Standing Revision Committee, comprising of members from the four signatory parties to the Plan Agreement, a Nordic Average Adjuster and the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law at the University in Oslo.

Digital access

With the Nordic Plan App and website now widely used, printed copies will no longer be available to order. This change also supports Cefor’s sustainability objectives. PDF versions of the Plan and Commentary can be found under “The Plan” and “Commentary” at the bottom of the website’s left-hand menu. Cefor retains the copyright to the Plan.

Language versions

Version 2027 will be available in four Nordic languages. The Norwegian version is already complete and online, while the Danish, Finnish and Swedish editions will be published as they are completed later this autumn. The Commentary will remain available in English only.
